Session Start: Sat Jul 08 13:12:42 2006 (H-1) [Monday, April 4, 2039 - 1130 local time] So it's off to Harvest Wind Global Contracting. Kasumi and Hikaru are back in the H-2 datacenter mining the companies network while the others walk in the front door at HWGC, where they are immediately accosted by a receptionist. [HWGC main lobby] [session start] * LadyRoyal straightens out her cuffs as she walks in. The lobby is a postmodern mess of glass panels and odd lighting. Nobody lingers here, since there's nowhere to sit. Not even for the receptionists, one of whom rushes over from near the elevators. * LadyTwister gives herself a one-over, making sure she looks presentable. The hat comes off, though, held in hand for the time being. She doesn't want to stand out *too* much. * Eliza has on a nametag and a salary woman suit. "Princess Royal! Princess Royal!" * LadyRoyal turns to the receptionist and nods cordially. "Good morning." * LadyKiss puts on her best nice face letting the Princess handle this. * LadyTwister smiles brightly and suddenly wishes she was a bit shorter. At least she took the hat off. * Eliza bows - very deeply - and continues, wide-eyed, "You're not expected this morning - how can we help you?" * LadySnow smiles brightly as she walks into the lobby with the Princess. "Good morning!" * Eliza starts hustling the group towards the elevator. "Shiguma-sama will make room in his schedule for you!" I'm here for a little...research. Can you contact--ah, thank you. * LadyTwister looks mildly... surprised, to say the least, at Eliza's eagerness. I'm sure we can get you anything you need! Mm. Thank you. Anything anything? * LadyTwister flashes Chi a look. What? The elevator dings, and the group steps in. The doors close, and you go UP! Nothing, nothing. ^^ * LadySnow looks all around the lobby and the elevator for all the neat and fancy things they have in this place. * Eliza looks torn between worry at the unexpected visit, concern that she's not doing enough for the Princess, and pride that she gets to handle such an important customer. So so, what's your name? Ma'am? * LadyDestiny continues to observe the scene, being unusually quiet while doing so. It's so nice of you to see us on such short notice. The elevator stops, and you exit into a top-floor office. The secretaries here are already waiting for you, lined up beside the elevator. He's already been notified, your highness - if you would just step this way...? * LadySnow looks at all of them lined up and leans over to Royal. "So uh are we supposed to salute or something?" * LadyTwister looks slightly uneasy with the being-waited-on bit, even after all the classes regarding the inevitability. ^...howdy^. She waves. * LadySnow follows, looking around even more curiously than before. This is all so neat and shiny. * PrincessRoyal steps that way. * PrincessRoyal nods at the line of secretaries cordially. * Eliza opens a set of marble double doors, ushers you through, then bows as she backs out and closes them behind you. * Shiguma is frantically shoveling papers into vaguely organized stacks as you enter, and stands up quickly to greet the group. "Your highness! Good morning!" Good morning, Shiguma-san. I apologize for the rather short notice. * LordFate comments over the radios, "Wow, they really are giving you the red- carpet treatment. Enjoy it, ladies!" * LadySnow waves at the secretaries as they pass them and then again at the CEO. "Good morning, Mr. CEO, sir!" I, uh, hope there isn't some problem with our services? * LadyTwister bows lightly, putting on her best smile. "Good morning." Royal-sama is a Princess of no small stature herself. She's worthy of such a reception, if she chooses to accept it. * LadyKiss bows graciously. "So nice of you to see us." Not...at present. That is good to hear - perhaps there is something more we can help with, then? Yes, actually. Would, ah...Mashimo-san be available? ...Mashimo? Head of our Security Services group? I believe he's around... * LadySnow idly looks around the office as she listens. It's an office. Richly decorated, but with uneven taste. * LadyTwister follows Snow's eyes, and idly bends the brim of her Stetson. * LadyKiss gives Snow a little smile and goes back to focusing her politeness on their hosts. But there's no need to go to him, Your Highness. I'd be happy to arrange anything you need. * LadySnow smiles back brightly. I'd like to have a word with him in person just the same, Shiguma-san. * PrincessRoyal smiles. "You may have heard--I have a sort of preference for dealing with things...personally." No offense intended. Nice, chilling phrase, Princess. * Shiguma looks mildly puzzled. "As you wish..." He presses a couple of keys and asks his secretary to call Mashimo up here. * LadyTwister mentally makes a note of that, but still looks a touch nervous. There's a silent moment while the command is passed along. * LadySnow continues smiling brightly looking mostly oblivious to the subtext. Uh, so, can you at least give me a hint what this is? * LadySnow looks at the moment as an opportunity. "So how is your day going, Mr. Shiguma?" Fine, just fine. That's good. Oh, I should've brought you a muffin! We had extra, didn't we? * Shiguma sweats. * Mashimo knocks at the door, and announces himself. Come in, Kou-kun. * LadySnow waves. "Good morning, Mr. Mashimo, sir!" * Mashimo slips though the doorway. He's a sharp-looking young executive, with perfect just-longer-than-fashionable hair and small wire-rimmed glasses partially obscuring narrowed eyes. He doesn't start at the sight of the guests, so he must have been told before walking in. Sir. Your highness. What did you need me for? * LadyTwister observes the man quietly, deciding that it may help to keep an eye on the fellow while Royal speaks. * LadySnow smiles as brightly at him as she does at everything else. * LadyKiss is just being nice and quiet letting Princess Royal handle all this. * Mashimo looks back and forth between the two authority figures. * Shiguma shrugs. * PrincessRoyal nods. "Mashimo-san. I must ask you--are these three employees currently available?" * PrincessRoyal rattles off the names of the three people in the files. Dokite, Ito, and... Yatabe? They're field managers - they get around a lot. I'd be happy to make them available if there's a reason you specifically need them, but I'm sure any of our managers could help just as well. I see. Where are they currently assigned, at the moment? I'd have to check. Should I? If you could, please. * Mashimo pulls out a PDA, and taps at it lightly for half a minute. He glances up at the group of visitors repeatedly. Ah. Here we go. All three are in town, but they appear to be on vacation. Ito is scheduled to go to the Mongolian detachment next week... is that what this is about? * LadySnow keeps the same smile leveled at him every time he looks up. * LadyTwister is still watching Mashimo now and then. She's better as looking over scraps of dead people, not live ones... but any little clue helps. Mm. What were they working on? Previously? I think they were together... it says here they were helping out in Johannesburg with the Ningyo embassy security recruitment. I see. Could I have a list of their contacts from that, please? * LadySnow idly has her PDA look into Johannesburg and the Ningyo embassy there. * LadyBobOmb echoes that request to the technicians who are in neck-deep into the HWGC systems. ^^ ...their what? What's going on here? Are these three men suspected of something? * LadyTwister flicks a momentary look at Mashimo's eyes once he replies, still curling the brim of her hat. * Mashimo looks - or is trying to look serious and concerned. * PrincessRoyal scratches her chin a bit. "I'm afraid I'm not at liberty to say much about it, gentlemen, for which I apologize." Let's just say it has to do with some...projects that we are developing. The techs back at H-2 note that they can't get to these three men's computers. They're either not on, or not in the network. The division calendar does show them as on vacation... I suppose we can dig up their contacts from Jo'burg... though that's surely private information. Oh, but we want to help, in any way we can! * Mashimo glances at his boss for an instant. Yes, of course, we want to help. How many other previous jobs did they work together on? Can we get details on those too, please? * PrincessRoyal smiles widely. "Thank you." She glances at Mashimo in particular before looking back. * LadyTwister is still watching and listening for little things: facial expressions, changes in vocal tone, the basics she learned in school. That first look from Mashimo has her concerned. That could take some time to sort out - they've had various assignments, and we'll have to compare their itineraries. Well if you could share with us your information we could sort it out ourselves. * Mashimo wrinkles his forehead. "That's really confidential information - I mean, jobs they've worked on for Tokyo-Earth we would surely tell you about, but we have to respect the confidentiality of our other customers." Of course. I'm sure we understand how that is private. * Shiguma looks apologetic. "He's right. But... maybe if you could tell us exactly what you're looking for we could dig that out for you?" Do you happen to know where they took their vacation? I think they were simply doing things here in Tokyo. They are sent all around the world - sometimes our managers just want to be home for a week or two. When did you last have contact with them? Nothing quite like a visit home to the folks, right, Sis? I spoke to them... last Tuesday, when they got back from Johannesburg. They were going to be in the office a couple of days after that, but you'll have to check with their group to see who talked with them after that. I see. And the other members of their group are...? Uh. All our managers have secretaries here, and they're organized in seniority groups... their offices are downstairs. The groups are not deployed together, usually, so it's a very loose bunch of people. Mm? So then how come they were all deployed to Johannesburg together? * LadyTwister idly rubs her chin, looking at Royal. Seeing that all the needful questions are being asked, she just lets her eyes and ears work for the team. They were available, and the mission was suited for that level of experience. * Shiguma looks very concerned. "Did they cause some incident in Jo'burg?" Of course. Common protocol. That's confidential right now, sorry. If they've done something that has caused problems for the SDF, please, let us know so we don't put them back in the field! We're not at liberty to say at the moment either way, Shiguma- san. * Shiguma looks very uncomfortable. "Is it just these employees, or is there a problem with my company, your highness?" That's what we're trying to determine. Gah. Snow, not what you want to do. Do -not- put him on the defensive at this point! * PrincessRoyal frowns at Lady Snow. No, Shiguma-san, not to worry. * LadyBobOmb winces, across at the other end of the feed. * LadySnow types on her PDA. "What? They already are." The H-2 techs have dug up the three schedules - it looks like they have worked together before, but only occasionally. They do seem to have spent more time in Tokyo-E than most field managers do. * Shiguma looks totally dyspeptic now. I'm afraid my acquaintance is being a little hasty in terms of definitions. * Mashimo looks... totally blank. You don't have to worry about your business with us. In fact, after this, I wanted to talk about the Mongolia deployment with you. I apologize. I just wanted to make sure we were getting your full cooperation with everything. Meanwhile, we may want to find out from the Ningyo what those three were doing for them in Johannesburg. Cross-check with any of the Belgians involved; see if there was any contact, or if they had any mutual contacts. Still, there must be some reason that you might think that, or think that you may think that. * PrincessRoyal winces visibly at Snow's comment to Shiguma. I can have their offices opened up for you, if you'd like... Could you? That'd be super. * LadyTwister really, really looks like she's not trying to say something, especially after Snow's comments. Unless you have a warrant, I can't let you take anything from the offices, but... looking won't hurt anything. * PrincessRoyal pinches the bridge of her nose. "Well, that gives me time to speak to Shiguma-san about the deployment..." She looks over her shoulder and nods at Twister, Kiss and Snow, then at Mashimo. * LadySnow nods back. Thank you so much sir. * LadySnow stands up to go with Mashimo. * Mashimo puts his PDA away, and heads for the elevator. "Follow me... Ladies...?" * LadyKiss nods slightly and follows. * LadyTwister nods as well, then follows, still at full attention. "Lady Twister, Mashimo-san. Pleased to make your acquaintance." * LadySnow follows. "Yes, sir." She continues smiling brightly. I'm Lady Snow! * PrincessRoyal waits for them to leave the room. * Mashimo nods, but doesn't say anything more as the group goes five floors down, then winds its way through tightly-packed corridors. * LadySnow goes back to her wide-eyed curiosity as she looks around the place, making idle chitchat with Mashimo. They come quickly to a section labeled "Group 2" by its signs, and three doors with the dead men's names on them. Their secretaries are also on vacation today. How many groups are there? * Mashimo pulls out a master key and unlocks their doors. We're up to six groups now - the top group is really small, though. Ooh, does your key open up everything? It would seem so, Snow. Hm... The managers' duties are best done by the young, and most people can't do the same things at fifty or sixty that they did at thirty. How many peoples are in their group? There are about forty managers, forty-five secretaries or so, and some support staff. Sounds like a big division. Neat. And they're in charge of all of that? SecServ is the... third largest division, after construction and supply. No. They're just managers. Oh okay. Go on in... I'll go get their passwords for you. Okay, thank you! Thank you again sir. * LadySnow wastes no time in opening the first door and stepping inside, looking around. The office is medium-sized, with two desks. One is decorated with lots of trinkets - the other one is almost bare. Both have computers, which are switched off. * LadyKiss follows Snow shaking her head. "Waste no time do you?" What? He said we could go in. * Mashimo walks away down the hall. * LadySnow immediately starts poking through the things on the desk, judging them by organization and cleanliness. Really... * LadyTwister is also looking about, although she's not touching a thing just yet. "Try not to disturb anything." * LadyTwister is also, for the record, keeping her voice down and using her PDA now and then to record visual data. * LadySnow starts opening drawers and cabinets after inspecting the stuff on top. What, are you guys all gonna check out the same office? *she looks at Twister and Kiss* All in all, it's an office. The decorated desk must be the secretary's, while the barely-used one must be Ito's. Three pairs of eyes. One at a time, carefully, slowly. Do it right, do it thorough. * LadyTwister wags a finger. I was hoping to get the passwords so we could look at that stuff. I just wanted to look through their stuff... * LadySnow pokes through all the drawers looking for secret compartments and stuff. A young woman pokes her head around the doorframe. Hi! * LadySnow waves. Uh, your Ladyships? Yes? Yes? * OfficeGirl nervously holds out a slip of paper. "Mashimo-sama said you'd need this." Thank you very much, miss. Yes, Thank you. Ooh. *takes the paper, looking it over* Thank you lots. The paper has three usernames, and three passwords. * LadyKiss points to one. "I'll take this one." * OfficeGirl frets. "Is there anything I can do to help, ma'ams? I supposed I'll take the one you don't, Snow. And miss... hrm. How well did you know the lay of gossip and whatnot around here? * LordFate takes note of the passwords and usernames. "Might want to tie a feeder to those, so they remain valid even if they're 'deleted' or 'changed'." * OfficeGirl blushes. Um... Did you know these three gentlemen? I, uh, hear things as well as anyone, my lady. * LordFate hisses into the connection. "'Do!' How well 'do' you know them! We don't want to let them know the men are dead yet." What di-- do you know about them? Heh, just curious about little things going on. Nothing, you know, 'top-secret'. Just water-cooler talk. None of the managers are around a lot, ma'am. I know their secretaries, though. * LadyKiss smiles. "What did the secretaries think of them or of the job?" * LadyTwister puts her hat back on and gives the brim a flick. Well what did they say? * LadySnow boots up the computer while she talks. Well... *thinks* Ito was always a bit of a jerk, and Dokite did all sorts of side jobs, and Yatabe was richer than his salary would account for... all of them were strong personalities, you know? The managers scare me. ...good move, Snow. * LadyBobOmb lets the techs know that the 3 computers are going to be turning on with the aforementioned usernames. Why's that? Techs scramble into motion! Or at least searching. * LadySnow tries to get the computer to talk to her PDA so those back at home can see as she puts in the user info. ...you realize they can't hear me, so replying to me while talking to her is going to sound odd. Anyway, good move because that's the kind of info on them that will help build a picture. * LadyKiss smiles and moves to sit down at one of the computers still listening. "It's not good to be scared of your job." * LadyKiss whispers a bit into the mic. "Ok, any of you tech heads know what I should do?" * LadySnow types. "I was talking to her. :P" Can we trace Yatabe's finances, see where money might have come from, or at least where unexplained acquisitions occurred? They're chosen because they can lead mercenaries, you know? Do you have any idea how egotistical and... and... testosterone-y mercs are? These managers have to be even more so. * LadyTwister nabs the other name/pass mentally, but keeps listening. "A man's man's man. Heh, figures." * LordFate chuckles. Just turn on and login to the computers. If they're net aware, we can handle it from here. Do your best to find out what you can, though. I try to keep out of their way when they're here. Ick. Di-- Do they spend a lot of time together? If they're watching you, you want to at least make a show of looking through the computers on your own. I don't know, though I did see them coming out of Mashimo-sama's office together last week. don't feel that way around us. We would love to have you pull up a chair and just chat. It's good to have company. * LadySnow goes back to poking through the desk after the computer thing is set up. The tech heads can handle that. You know what about? * LadyTwister is indeed moving towards the next comp, still keeping an ear out for things. No... but Mashimo-sama NEVER talks to managers, normally. Not in his office. Really? Could you tell if it was good news or bad news? They seemed... smug? Yeah, quiet, but happy. Different than normal? ...okay! THAT'S something to look into. *to the techs* Is there anything you can find that might be a record of that meeting? A computer left on and recording, security cameras, a PDA transcript? Hell, a speakerphone picking it up accidentally across the hall? The techs have income tax returns on the screens for all three men now. Yatabe's is higher than the others, though all of them have strangely uneven income for the last few years. * LadyTwister quietly moves into her chosen office, has a peeksee, then moves to the computer she's sure is the one to use and... just looks at the area for a moment, out of habit. I don't know. They weren't as boisterous as normal./ Hmm... How long was the meeting? Twister spots... a small notebook, on Dokite's desk. Fifteen, twenty minutes, maybe. * OfficeGirl flinches. "You're not going to tell anyone I told you all this, right?" No, of course not! I do appreciate you helping us though. Maybe we could send you a basket with fruit and lotions or something. A tech taps Kasumi on the shoulder. "Ma'am?" * LadySnow moves on to look through the next office if she doesn't find anything worth looking at in the first office, making sure she leaves things mostly as she found them. For whatever reason since no one is coming back to them anyway... * LadyBobOmb turns her attention to them. "Yes?" * LadyTwister blinks at the notebook, and opens it up carefully, looking through it while she signs onto the computer. "To business." I'll go to the next office Snow. So when did you see them all last? * LadySnow nods at Kiss. "Okies." * LadySnow gestures for the Lady to follow her as she switches offices. You know, I didn't think about this before, but look at all of their bank records. The deposits from HWGC... they seem to be paid a flat salary, but sometimes they get more than normal. * LadyKiss stands up and heads over to the next one and logs in there. Supplementary incomes, either from unspecified bonuses or third parties. Though I'm leaning towards the former, as they're reported on their taxes. * LadyBobOmb nods. "There might be something to be learned there. I suspect that the dates of higher than normal will be tied to unofficial or official bonuses." Can you trace who authorized the payments in excess of standard salary? The notebook has only five pages filled, all with very cryptic, short notes. The last one reads, "Belgs, NC roof, sat21, 8704e spr mark blvd, 300k" * LadyTwister keeps reading... and even turns the PDA onto every page, snapping shots of what's on them... after checking to see if there aren't any cameras fixed on her at the moment. What are the dates, how often did it happen, and how regularly? And anything as such in the last mont-? ... hm. Uh. Their employee transcripts don't have those listed at all. * LadyBobOmb glances at the vid-feed from Twister. It wasn't regular at all - though it does mostly line up with when they were in town. * LadyTwister closes the notebook and focuses back onto the computer, occasionally looking around for any other little scraps or post-its that might've been tossed or lost. Definitely side work. Unclear from this alone whether mediated through HWGC, but given their meeting with their boss, I wouldn't be surprised if he had some hand in it. * LadySnow pokes through the stuff in the next office while she wants for the lady to answer. * OfficeGirl looks distracted. "Oh, they need me. Ma'ams, glad I could help!" See if you can get Mashimo's office pointed out to you; I'd like Weaver to take a look around in there. Oh before you go, could you show me where I could get some coffee? * LadyBobOmb nods. "And see if he has a schedule posted so you can time that better." Oh, thank you very much for your assistance. Could we contact you again if there's anything else you might be able to help us with? Uh, of course! * OfficeGirl beckons Kiss along with her. * LadyBobOmb tosses a search for the address in the notebook into her PDA. * LadyKiss stands up. "Thanks so much, I have the feeling this is going to be a long day. So what else is up here on this floor?" * LadySnow types back. "I don't think Mashimo will be as willing to let us into his own office just yet..." * LadyTwister keeps her voice down. "You guys having fun with this?" Yup! Their desks are just soo efficient. That's why I just want it pointed out. Weaver can get in on his own. * LadySnow moves over to Mari and looks at the notepad. "Ooh, what did you find?" Uh, This floor has groups 2-5, and some of the Security executive offices. * LadyBobOmb muses for a moment, then forwards the results of the address search to everyone's PDAs. "I believe we have our next lead." I do hope I'm not keeping you to long, but sometimes we all need a break... ...interesting. So did you guys look into their finances and stuff? * OfficeGirl looks away. "It's just a... meeting." See if you can get the office girl's name, too. May want to 'randomly' run into her later, without official connection to this. What about those of their friends and family? Nothing too important. You know how they like to hide funds in other accounts where they're less likely to stand out. Oh my it sounds like a long boring thing. * LadyTwister smiles at Snow, then finishes up where she's at. "^Done...^ could go for some bacon right now." I bet Mashimo has interesting things in his account too. I don't doubt it. I was thinking a nice fruit salad. Yeah. So... here's the coffeepot. I don't know how you can stand all the grease. Twister, would you ask Weaver to follow the nice young lady whose been so helpful? I'm curious what this "...meeting" is about. * LadyKiss laughs. "Thank you so much, I'm being so rude. I'm Lady Kiss and you are? I should know who to say was so helpful to us." The girl shows Kiss the kitchenette. It's the Westerner in me, Snow. * LadyTwister smiles, and quietly does as directed to Weaver, giving it a petpet. I'm Ella Ishuzu. * Weaver nods, bobbing a bit under the petpet, and vanishes onto the ceiling where, sticking as much to shadows and corners as possible, it skitters and teleports into position to follow Ella. * LadySnow eyes the spider and stays well clear of it as it passes. So nice to meet you. It's been a pleasure to have some one to listen to as we work. I gotta run, now. Thanks, Kiss. * Ella scurries away. So... thoughts? * LadySnow goes back to poking through the office. * LadyTwister is still sitting, but seems to be thinking about what she's seen and heard, voice still low. "... was probably an off-the-books job." If that's a date in the notebook, that's coming up in a month and a few weeks. Of course. Thank you. I think Mashimo knows perfectly well what they were doing there that night. * LadyKiss moves to get a cup of coffee smiling the whole time. We should tie him to a chair and stick things in him till he talks. ... What? * LadyTwister cannot help but snicker madly. ... What? * LadyBobOmb nods, though that's not heard over the connection. "Mashimo and the three were in it together, I think. And Lady Twister? Great job with that notebook." That's like our job now, isn't it? I mean we have all those fancy rooms and stuff. * LordFate chuckles. "You're right, we do." Please, there are codes of conduct that specifically state that tying people up and sticking things in them without ample reason is a gross violation of rights." What do you think this is, Mari, America? * LordFate sounds like he's more joking than not. I see a couple of places where bonuses were authorized, but those were mostly in conjunction with very long overseas deployments. Some of these other bonuses are totally undocumented, as far as I can see. Their base pay was simply bumped some months. ... you think they follow that in Texas? ^^ Any indication of who ordered the pay be bumped? If not, my guess would be Mashimo, but it is just an educated guess. Do we have dates on them and stuff? Anything that lines up with them being in Johannesburg together? There's no record at all of the changes. But seriously, Snow... there is a time for all things. If we come to a point where someone gets probed, you'll have first crack. Eww I don't want to do it. I was just saying someone should. Watching would be icky. The Ladies working the computers at the three desks aren't getting much of anywhere. All that's on them are status reports and summaries of field jobs. Maybe we'll be lucky, Snow, and anybody we have to interrogate will be afraid of spiders, so Weaver can do it for us. Gosh I hope so. Spiders are scary. Heh. Not even any porn. What kind of men are these? I mean... he's very nice. But icky. Field agents, mostly. You won't find any porn on my systems, either, Lady Twister. But she did say they were mercenaries. Do we have any records on their military background? Maybe they served together and stuff. You just hide it well. * LadyTwister snickers, still working idly. "... well, I'm not seeing anything else." It's an interesting question. Did they start working on and off together before or after working with HWGC? * LadySnow finishes going through all the offices, not find anything of note in any of the desks. * Weaver eventually appears on Twister's shoulder again, hiding under her hair or hat. He whispers in that eerily deep voice of his, "Just a meeting, as she said. Tell Lord Fate that her reluctance was more due to the men in there being oddly clumsy when it comes to where their hands find themselves." Is there anything else we need in here? We should probably meet back up with the Princess. Well, I'd still like to get someone into Mashimo's office before he gets back there. Isn't he already there? I can go see him. ...oh, look at this. Ask how things are going with the files we asked for and stuff. * LadyBobOmb looks! * Tech puts up Mashimo's bank records. Take Weaver; we'll leave him in there to see what our good Security Division Head does when he thinks no-one is watching. * LadySnow pales a bit. ... me? oooh. We've got ^Mr. Security's^ bank records here, girls. ...he can just follow you. Oh, what's it say, what's it say? ... Kay... Well, words from the spider. Normal meeting, she's just having problems with grabby hands. He's gotten undocumented bonuses, too, and some of them line up with these three's bonuses. Interesting. Can we see if anyone else in the company has the same bonuses? Paid out of general employee payroll accounts? --good idea, Snow. See about other employees getting similar bonuses at the same times, too, when you've the chance. * LadySnow heads out to find Mashimo's office. Not bad at all. And you... get to work. * Weaver follows, doing his odd ceiling-shadow-hopping again. Ugh. There are a lot of employees. * LadyTwister watches Weaver go, then chuckles. Well check like managers and stuff first. * LadySnow tries to subvocalize as best she can so she doesn't draw the attention of everyone around her by talking to herself. Snow doesn’t have problems finding Mashimo's office - all she has to do is follow the bigger and bigger offices until she finds his in a corner. Check division heads. If Mashimo's the only one getting these bonuses, check primarily his people. * LadySnow politely knocks. A secretary opens the door. "Yes?" * Weaver vanishes from his position on the ceiling, presumably somewhere inside and inconspicuous. Hi! Is uh Mr. Mashimo around? No, he said he had a meeting. Anything else from my end, folks? I think you're good, Lady Twister, thank you. Lady Snow, no need to wait on Weaver; he'll find his own way out. Thank you for guiding him in. Oh. Who with? I don't know... I'm sorry, who are you? * Weaver moves his way deeper into the office, attempting to locate either the inner office belonging to Mashimo himself, or at least his desk. I'm Lady Snow! He was helping us with some stuff. I just wanted to say thank you and see if he found the info we asked him for. * LadyTwister quickly shuts on down and starts to clean things up, looking at the notebook one last time... and flipping through it again, just in case. The spider sees no one in the office, and his desk is easy to find. The computer is flashing, indicating he has messages waiting. Nothing else is in the notebook. Mm. * LadyTwister sets it down and stretches. "... hungry." I will pass that along, ma'am. ...come to think of it, so am I. We should all get some lunch when you guys get back. Thank you very much. * LadySnow bows politely. * Secretary closes the door in Snow's face. * LadySnow heads off to meet with the others and heads back to Shiguma's office. * Weaver finds a good vantage point to watch Mashimo's screen and listen to any conversations that occur. He'll wait around, possibly follow the man from the office. Unless he gets bored or is in danger and has to come back. ...you know, I wonder if our budget would be capable of stretching to make a little radio and webcam for Weaver to wear. * LadyTwister is on her way to meeting up with the others as well. "... why does that idea strike me as vaguely cute?" Ooh that'd be cute! * LadySnow almost squeals. In a kinda creepy sort of way. I've never used him for such long-term recon before, but it is irritating to have to wait for him to report back. That would be useful, especially if it fit my own little ones. ^^ * LadySnow finds the elevator and heads back up to the CEO's floor. ...didn't you say your little ones explode? Only if threatened. That's... unique. They can - and will - get just about anywhere they want to, though. * LadyTwister ponders. "We need to have that show-and-tell soon, though." * LordFate just looks at her, a semi-teasing half-smile on his face. He definitely seems in better spirits than he was yesterday. You better dress warm then. * LadySnow smiles knowingly. [end session] Session Close: Sat Jul 08 17:19:02 2006
