[Ten rides along. Woo. Gonna be a while before something happens here.] ( But you can send e-mails in the other chan. Just keep in mind they have to check for them before you can say anything. ) (Right. Well the first thing to do is wait for them to respond. Also, did the van have a roof rack or anything, or am I going to riding underneith and getting my clothes and wings shreaded?) ( Underneath. Woo ) (Awesome!) [As the van travels along, Ten notices it goes into one of the darker, poorer parts of the city.] * Ten texts Togo back! [The van stops in front of a run down apartment building. The man and woman get out the same time, the man moving around to get Lukas. "You said nobody would be hurt!"] [Elsa heads towards the building. "Yes, well, stuff happens. Bring him inside. We might not have long. I'll contact the master." ] * Ten waits under the van for now. [Two other pairs of feet join them as they head in. "You two," Elsa says, "Guard the room. Nobody goes in, understand?"] [They all disappear inside.] * Ten follows now, TKing to the door to keep it from closeing before she goes through if she has too. [The apartment building is about ten stories tall. The ground windows are covered with iron bars. Some of the higher windows are broken or borded up. Paint peels off all the wood, both outside and in. There's two small alleys to either side, both of which have a number of clotheslines strung up.] [Inside, the place doesn't look much better. Peeling wallpaper, a rundown elevator, spots on the brown carpet... The villians have taken the elevator by the time Ten goes in.] (Any furniature? Dead potted plants sort of thing?) [There's one 3-person seat, the cushions cracked and the stuffing showing through.] [There's also a Corke machine making a steady hum.] (Can I get a computer scan on the elevator to find out what floor they're headed to?) ( Nope. It's an old-fashioned elevator. ) ( But the numbers stop at 9. ) ( :D ) * Ten ducks under the soda machine to wait to see where it stops... and then make a beeline for the stairs and flys up to the ninth floor! [Whee! Ten flies upwards! Most of the rooms seem abandoned, but floor 3 has a guy watching TV with the volume turned WAAAAAY up, and floor 6 has a man and a woman screaming at each other.] [Floor nine is a dimly-lit hallway with three doors on both sides. There's no carpet, and the walls are painted, though the paint is chipped. Ten sees two men standing outside the door on the far right. One is tall and lankey, the other bald and muscular.] (Room number?) (And do they look armed?) ( 905. And no. ) (And how are they dressed?) ( Casually. ) (Don't you hate it when you realize what your char should have been doing fifteen minutes ago?) (What's the ceiling like here?) ( 10 ft. from the floor, unimpressive. ) (But more than I can fly, so I'll wait at the top of the stairs for them.)
