corridors of what was once Asahara's HQ.  You've just defeated the three Maxes.

<Brett> [Currently, you're searching for your missing comrades along with Leo
Mayer, one of Section 1's top men, apparently.  You're also looking for the
remaining canisters of virus and the leader of the whole shibang.]
<Brett> [And then you find him!  A tall Hispanic-American man with greasy hair
tied into a ponytail comes into view as you round a corner. Nearby him is an
auto-K.O.'d because I don't know what else to do with him Heinrick and a
plain-looking Asian scientist in her thirties.]
<Brett> [Aight? Aight.]
<Brett> [Session Start]
<Brett> ( Lemme get Keiko in #MC4more )
* Togo levels his shotgun at the two people. "Hands on your head, back away from
him."
* Jamie stays back!
<Brett> [At any rate, the Hispanic-American guy advances towards the woman.  But
he stops when Togo does that.  "Tobias Goranov."]
* Luana is still keeping watch for people coming from behind, but her attention
is more focused on the people in front.
<Togo> ... you know, it really defeats the point of using a codename if
everyone's just going to blurt out my real name. Who the hell are you two?
* Roseli stifles a yawn.
<Brett> [Leo falls into a ready stance, blade held high.  "Don't you know him? 
That's Emilio Valmont.  Ricardo's son."]
* Togo stiffens for a moment at the name. "... and the woman?"
<Brett> [Leo shrugs. "Beats me."]
* Togo looks at the woman. "Who are you?"
<Keiko> (Someone hit him!)
<Togo> ( One sec! We need to know if we have to shoot the woman too! )
<Brett> [Emilio steps forward. "Your friends call you Dead Eyes, right?  I'm
just going to call you dead."]
* Jamie also yawns, because it's contagious and she's been awake all night.

<Brett> [There's a high-pitched shrieking sound as Emilio's shadow elongates,
solidifying into a point as it nears Togo.  He moves out of the way just in time
as an unseen force puts a dent in the wall behind him.]

* Jamie sends her remaining helecopters ... right past the baddies and down the
hall.

<Jamie> (It's a good thing there arn't any doors left down here)
* Roseli fires at Valmont from a different angle than Togo's! Oh my.

<Brett> [Roseli shoots him.  He staggers, on fire, but catches his footing.
"Togo! I'll drag you to hell with me, if I have to!"]
* Roseli rolls her eyes and readies her fire again.
<Brett> [And then torso explodes with multiple blades of darkness.  They
retract, and he slumps to the ground, revealing a man who suddenly appeared
behind him.  It's the lethal cube wielder, Maximillion.  He's added a bowler hat
to his ensable, but otherwise looks the same as he did about ten minutes ago.]
<Brett> [He tips his hat. "You'll never guess what just happened.  Seems someone
made me a better offer, and all I had to do was kill my employer."]
* Roseli raises an eyebrow. "Who?"
* Togo pauses. "Okay, that was almost as impressive a death as his dad, credit
where credit's due."
<Luana> (We were doing a perfectly good job of that!)
<Roseli> (He's a killstealer. :()
<Keiko> (And he got phat lewt for it!)
* Jamie winces at the exploding torso.
<Brett> [Max raises his other hand, in which he holds a canister of the virus.
"Someone who would like this back." He bows, sinking into the ground. "Don't
worry, I'm sure we'll meet again. Cheerio."]
* Roseli blinks once, then says to Jamie, "Find Keiko yet?" She looks at the
Asian woman.
<Brett> [And he's gone. Leo frowns. "Well, that sucks."]
* Togo goes to check on Heinrick.
<Brett> [The Asian woman looks back!]
<Brett> [Heinrick doesn't look back.  He's unconscious.]
* Jamie shakes her head. "More virus."
<Jamie> 2d8
* Dicesuke throws the bones for Jamie (2d8) and gets a natural 7 for a result of

<Togo> Look on the bright side. We couldn't stop him from teleporting away with
the virus. At least he was nice enough to kill that guy for us.
* Roseli nods once to Jamie, then approaches the Asian woman. "Do you speak
German?"
* Togo mutters. "Can't believe Valmont had a goddamn kid. And what the hell kept
trying to hit me?
<Brett> [The Asian woman blinks and says something back to Roseli.  Not in
German.]
<Brett> [Leo speaks to Jamie! "Where is the virus?"]
<Togo> ( Is it english or spanish, by any chance? Or braille, for that matter?

<Brett> ( Nope. It's Japanese! )
* Jamie looks at Leo and gives him directions in a soft voice.
<Jamie> (I speakes that!)
<Brett> [Leo hurries off. "I'm going to secure the virus."]
<Jamie> 2d8

* Roseli nods, then stifles a yawn. "Do that."
* Togo lifts Heinrick up in a fireman's carry. "Let's bring her along. We've
still got to find Keiko."
* Roseli holds her hand out to Togo. "Need cuffs."
<Roseli> Do you know Japanese?
* Jamie nods. "The. The high priest made me learn it."
<Roseli> Tell her she's coming with us and see if you can get any further
information from her.
<Brett> ( brb )
* Jamie speaks Japanese very politly and is sorry to inform the woman that she's
going to be traveling with us. And also asks her name.
* Jamie looks at Rose. "I..I think Keiko is gone. I'm sorry."
* Togo tosses Roseli a pair of manacles.
* Luana turns to Jamie suddenly. "Gone where!?"
<Togo> ( "To Euro Disney." "NOOOOOOOOOO!" )
<Keiko> (Man, that's a coin-toss.)
* Jamie takes a step back from Luana. "I I do-don't know. The cells are empty
and something was taken from the lab and and I lost the trail at the exit with
all the dead officers and and I'm sorry."
* Luana tries to look calmer and points at the woman. "Ask her if she knows.
Please."
* Jamie turns back to the woman and regets to ask her if she knows where the
others ran off to.
<Brett> ( Back )
<Brett> [She responds!]
* Jamie clarifies by asking about the people in the lab and a young woman in a
dress.
* Roseli cuffs the Asian chick, because it is the thing to do. If she's smart,
she won't resist.
<Brett> [Hooo.  She totally backs off at that.]
<Roseli> (Like, just backs away?)
<Keiko> (At the cuffing, or the question?)
<Keiko> (Or yes?)
* Jamie tells her that we work for the German government and that she's
unfortunatly under arrest.
<Brett> ( She's not throwing punches, no :P )
<Roseli> (Seriously, she KNOWS we're capable of killing.  She was here for it!
:D)
<Brett> [She holds up her arms and says something.]
* Jamie looks at Rose. "She.. uhm, says she isn't with them."
* Roseli lowers the cuffs for now. "Tell her we're glad to hear it and ask her
if she'll come willingly."
<Roseli> And if she isn't with them, why is she here?
* Jamie translates!
<Brett> [She nods, and responds.]
<Jamie> She says... she says she was kidnapped. Like the others.
* Roseli nods.
<Roseli> Tell her we'll take her into custody and see that no more harm is done
to her.
* Jamie translates that too.
* Roseli hooks the cuffs onto her blelt.
<Roseli> (belt)
<Brett> [She nods.]
<Brett> [She says something else, then.  Something involving Blitzkrieg.]
* Jamie looks uncertainly at Rose for a moment before translating. "She wants to
know if we are Blitzkrieg."
<Togo> ( "I am a big fan of the American luchadore-style wrestler known as
Blitzkrieg!" )
* Roseli glances at Jamie, then nods once to the woman.
<Brett> [Leo returns, carrying a case. "Two cannisters are missing.  That old
guy took one with him, so that still leaves one unaccounted for."]
<Roseli> Great.  At least we got some.
<Brett> [She smiles, then says something else!]
<Roseli> Keiko is still missing.
* Jamie blinks and says hurridly to Rose. "She knows where Keiko is."
<Roseli> Good.  Where?
* Jamie keeps the same haste as she asks in Japanese where Keiko is.
<Brett> [And she responds again.]
* Jamie blinks in confusion and then slowly speaks to Rose. "She, uhm. She says.
She says she's Keiko's mother..." She looks down and continues."And she will
only help if she gets Keiko back."
* Roseli frowns slightly, then says, "I can't make deals like that."
<Roseli> But she's safer with us than if she's with them.  We can discuss terms
after she's out of danger.
* Jamie translates that she's very sorry but we can't do that, but that she's
safer with us than them and asks what her name is please.
* Luana snaps at the woman, "What the hell kind of mother are you?" Sparks are
starting to intermittently pop off of her hair.
<Togo> ( Bah, if she was a good mother, Keiko wouldn't be a PC. )
<Brett> [She shakes her head, and speaks again.]
* Togo motions for Luana to stand down for the moment and let Jamie talk.
* Luana folds her arm and continues glaring and sparking, but steps back.
<Jamie> She... she says her name is Haruko... and she's been looking for her for
months and and isn't going to stop.
<Roseli> If she knows where she is, then she can tell us and we can bring her in
safely.  I am not authorized to make deals concerning custody, however.
<Roseli> So she can tell us now and we can discuss this later, taking Keiko out
of danger, or we can take her into custody and she can deal with people who can.
* Jamie translates what Rose is saying as best she can.
<Brett> [And she responds.]
<Jamie> She... She won't negotiate having Keiko, and and... [Jamie looks like
she doesn't want to say what follows.] doesn't think you will treat her better
than the people that have her now.
* Luana still isn't saying anything, but the sparking has gotten a little worse
and her eyes are practically black.
* Roseli looks to Togo, of all people, to see what he thinks.
<Togo> Tell her that if she doesn't help us find Keiko, she's either going to be
killed or used to kill others. We're not always saints, but we're giving her a
chance to live and control her powers.
* Jamie translates!
<Brett> [And another response!]
* Jamie seems a bit confused by Haruko's answer but translates anyway. "She...
she says that we're going to use Keiko too and that she  deserves peace."
* Roseli looks at the woman for a moment, then says, "She's coming with us,
then. If her story checks out, we'll see if we can work out a deal." She pulls
out the cuffs. "Tell her that if she cooperates, she won't be harmed."
* Jamie throws in a generous pile of we regrets and I'm sorries into that as she
translates.
<Brett> [She frowns, and responds.]
<Roseli> (Aw, Jamie.  She feels for people!  It's so cute.)
* Togo scowls, and reaches up to his temples, fiddling a bit before removing his
glasses. His sockets are just as nasty looking as they used to be. "Tell her
that the people who had Keiko did this to me. And they'll do worse to her."
<Togo> ( s/had/have )
* Jamie translates into German and not out of. "She says we need her... and that
they'll take Blitzkrieg secrets if we wate too long."
* Jamie then translates Togos threat.
<Togo> ( More of a warning, but okay. =P )
<Brett> [She makes a face but doesn't comment.]
<Roseli> If we need her, she needs us.  Where is Keiko?
* Jamie translates that too!
<Brett> [She shakes her head and responds.]
<Roseli> (We're totally going to go on like this all night, aren't we? ;P)
<Jamie> (Shoot her in the head and then have the Telepath section wring it out
of what's left!)
<Luana> (I need some sleep if it's at all possible, so GIVE IN KEIKO'S MOM.)
<Roseli> (So tempted.)
* Jamie translates. "She... she says not without a guarentee."
<Brett> ( We could just end here, since it's probably not going anywhere. )
* Togo shrugs, and puts his glasses back on.
<Togo> ( Sure. )
