* Takaar walks up to the bar and orders a drink. [There are a fair number of people in the lounge. An African man is discussing something with an American woman. M-"Control of means of production is vital in securing the future of the freedom of a people" W-"I don't know, the means of destruction always seem so much more important.] [The english man is having a quiet but pleasant discussion with Memphis, the Turk soon joins them] [Bar tender brings Takaar a drink, the Aussie is sitting next to him] G'day mate, how are you? I am good. The open rail is such a peaceful feeling. [Aussie] Quite so, it's good to be off the Emu farm and enjoy a nice ride. So, you here for this convention thing? * Takaar takes a drink. "Yes, I'm here as an attendee." * Grysar downs one. "Ya call this beer, gimme something better. He then turns back to Takaar. "What'cha make, guns, know how the Turks like such things." [Rep glares up for a moment] How about you? No, I'm not a gun maker. Nor would I want to be one. I specialize in mechanical contraptions mostly. [American woman glances over for a minute than looks away.] * Aussie slaps you on the back. "No worries, I like a man of peace. What sort of contraptions?" Moving machines and other devices that help with transportation. Hence my affinity for trains. [Falaah walks in and joins the englishman and the Turk. Memphis kisses her hand as she walks up and then excuses himself and leaves the lounge] [Aussie] Ah.. got some powerful ones have ya? * Takaar speaks into his glass so that the Aussie can hear but it would be hard for Fallah to hear. "Nothing powerful really. Just some new concepts." [Aussie] Ah, so like some sort of better train? smaller scale. things that can work within a city or factory. it's still in the development stage. How long of a trip was it to get here from Australia? "Oh, quite the long journey mate. Had to take a steamer." I've heard those steamers don't always have the best of accomidations certainly not as nice as this train. it's a beaut. [Aussie] Absolutely mate, we need some like this in Australia. (who else is in the room right now?) (Whole range of people. Including Falaah, see above) (she's still talking to the Turk?) (Yeah, and the englishman) I think it's time for me to take my leave for the night. G'night mate. [Aussie nods. "If you every want to talk about those machines of yours gimme a knock." He raises the glass in cheers. * Takaar leaves the lounge going back toward the hallway.
